Dr. Mario Novo is the owner of Lifters Clinic, a private sports medicine physical therapy practice in middle TN, that was founded in 2015. Mario’s passion for learning, creating and teaching within the fields of sports performance, rehabilitation and technology, were the basis for his continuing education courses and research. Mario is currently both a Belmont University DPT program adjunct professor and TN Titans research associate; where he is expanding the broader application of blood flow restriction training (BFRT) within the fields of rehabilitation science and athletic performance. As the acting Medical Director of BFRT for Smart Tools and Director of Clinical education for ICE Performance; Mario is focused on leaving behind a legacy of valued, high quality education systems that develop and mentor the clinicians/coaches of the future.
